AboutCarter Geier, founder
Hi, I'm Carter.
I founded Pancake Stack, and I build every site it makes myself. It's a solo studio in Clermont, Florida, making Shopify stores and websites for small businesses, so when you hire us, you get me. I'm on the first call, I design and build the site, and I'm the one who picks up when you call next year.
I've sold online myself. At sixteen I started making custom baseball bats and selling them on eBay, and I've made more than 600 sales of my own since. So I know a store from the seller's side, not only the developer's.
I studied marketing at Mercer University, then worked in marketing for a law firm and an investment fund before starting Pancake Stack in 2025. I've built sites for insurance companies, restaurants, home builders, online stores and B2B companies, some of them through a marketing agency. I'm also a certified Shopify Partner. I care how a site looks, but I care more whether your customers can find what they came for.
A project starts with a call about what you have now and what isn't working. Before any work starts, I write down a fixed price and a rough timeline. I work on a private copy of your site, so nothing your customers see changes until you've looked it over and said yes. Then it goes live, and I stay on to look after it.
Anyone can buy a template. I'd rather build you a site nobody else has.
Away from the desk I'm usually in the gym or at a coffee shop, and I played college baseball. As for the name, I thought it was funny, and a "stack" is what developers call the set of tools a site is built on.
If you've read this far, you probably have something in mind. Tell me about it.
Carter
